I’ll be Up All Night for WA families with sick kids
I am on a heartfelt mission to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities Western Australia (RMHC WA) on behalf of my brother.
His name is Matthew and he is the most amazing brother who fought so hard. For 12 years he fought brain tumours while living his life to the fullest. January 2025 will unfortunately mark 21 years since I lost my gorgeous brother at the age of 15 years old to his battle. It also marks 21 years since my family last called a Ronald McDonald House home. Throughout my brothers battle our family used the services of Ronald McDonald House in both Perth & Sydney. These houses really are a home away from home at such a difficult time. While I would never wish anyone a reason to need the use of a Ronald Mcdonald House, I would recommend it to anyone who does need to use it. To be able to give back to this amazing service by raising much needed funds and giving up our night is an absolute honour.Â
This year, I will be walking in an overnight marathon. It won't be easy, but I am determined to push through every step, knowing that the difficulties I face during this marathon are nothing compared to the immense challenges families with sick kids experience.
Why am I undertaking this challenge? I am walking for all the kids who are fighting battles beyond their years.
RMHC WA provides a vital lifeline for these families, offering them a home away from home and the support they need during their child's medical journey.
By donating to this cause, you can help RMHC WA continue their remarkable work. Your generous donation will directly impact the lives of these families, providing them with a comforting place to stay, nourishing meals, and support during their most challenging times.
Please donate to my page today and support RMHC WA.
No donation is too small, as every little bit makes a meaningful difference. Your support will make sure that RMHC WA can continue to be there for families when they need it most.
Thank you for your generosity.
